Outdoor sport are loosely defined as events that are played outdoors. These events are usually played as an individual and at recreational levels.

However, there has been an increasing obsession for people to pursue these sports at the professional level. Most notably is the entry of sport climbing into the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, 2020. This was big news for our industry as it meant that the sport we enjoy is now recognise as one of the key sports that influence the world over.

In Singapore, the term outdoor sports usually refer to the following activities:

  • Trail Running
  • Sport Climbing / Abseiling
  • Kayaking /  Stand-up Paddling
  • Hiking
  • Mountaineering
  • Biking
